Creative Channel Services Announces Industry’s First Comprehensive Spanish-language Training Site for Sony Products

Culver City, CA (PRWEB) March 8, 2006

Creative Channel Services, LLC (CCS), has announced the launch of a new Spanish-language product training site specifically for Sony Electronics products. Hosted on CCS’ CyberScholar.com portal, the new site (http://www.cyberscholar.com/Sony/espanol) assists retail sales professionals, as well as Sony customer service, field sales and training representatives, who prefer using Spanish to learn about Sony’s products and when assisting customers.

The U.S. Census Bureau suggests there are approximately 30 million native Spanish-speaking people in the United States, and this rapidly growing demographic has become a strong presence within the consumer electronics industry. The Sony Spanish CyberScholar.com training site helps retailers better serve Spanish-speaking customers, allowing salespeople to truly speak the language of their customers and impart technical concepts in a vernacular that can be more easily understood. The site details product features, technology, benefits, accessories, target audience, customer service and sales tips. Retail salespeople accessing the Sony Spanish site are also eligible to participate in prize incentive, promotion, accommodation and certification programs.

“Providing Sony CyberScholar training in Spanish increases sales professionals’ ability to effectively communicate product features and benefits with Spanish-speaking customers,” said Gary Schilling, Sony Electronics’ national e-training manager. “The new training site delivers consistent information and 24-hour access, complete with the capability to take quizzes leading to Sony certification, thus allowing people to educate themselves at their own pace.”

As featured on CCS’ CyberScholar.com, the top e-learning portal for technology sales professionals, the new site mirrors the English-language Sony Online Training site, which has been very successful in keeping sales professionals up to date on Sony Electronics products since its launch in 2002. CCS arranged translation services and made additional adjustments to streamline the Spanish training site.

Andy Restivo, president of CCS, sees great opportunity for retailers and vendors in the rapidly expanding Hispanic market. “We are dedicated to helping our client-partners address the needs of their Spanish-language clientele and are committed to supporting the performance of Hispanic-owned retailers,” Restivo said. “Multi-lingual online training will take on a crucial role as an increasing number of manufacturers, retailers and vendors worldwide turn toward web-based solutions for employee development.”

FullColorPrinting.com makes ordering color printing products easier with launch of its re-designed website

Miami, FL (PRWEB) September 8, 2004

FullColorPrinting.com has more than 12 years in the printing business and has been growing and expanding each year. Their quality digital printing, fast turn around time, affordable prices and excellent customer service has given them a great reputation among Fortune 500 companies across the U.S. and small business owners in Southern California. FullColorPrinting.com is the answer to affordable full color printing. The “4-color process” is no longer too expensive for the large firms in the heart of downtown or the small mom & popshop located in the suburbs. Because of the high volume of orders, full color printing is now less expensive than 2 color printing.

“The website re-design is part of our few different strategic initiatives for 2004. We are committed to providing customers with the easiest, safe, secure and responsive ways of doing business with us, and our new eCommerce-enabled website allows us to fulfill this promise” said, Jeff Arean of FullColorPrinting.com.”Because our company is growing and evolving, the message we deliver to potential customers is also evolving with us, and our new website allows us to better serve our customers as we launch new products and services.” he said.

The website employs a rigorous search engine optimization and internet marketing strategy and powerful backend administration console. The entire full featured website was built using internal resources, tools and expertise leveraging GoECart Shopping Cart Software eCommerce platform.

Full Color Printing.com can act like an in-house printer to businesses. Easy ordering, downloading, payment and shipping make FullColorPrinting.com a convenient way to do business. Small and large print shops use FullColorPrinting.com because it is a cost effective way to keep down the overhead costs that full color printing requires. Services such as professional business card printing, brochure printing, poster printing, post card printing and custom offset printing are available at the click of the mouse on the new improved website.

Full Color Printing web site has been created with the user in mind. Basic instructions in preparing graphics and text for print are available under the “How to Prepare Files” section. They accommodate all file formats, whether it is Mac or PC version of Quark, InDesign, CorelDRAW, Illustrator, Photoshop or output as a PDF. Links to UPS, FedEx, United States Postal Service and Visa/MasterCard make shipping and payment quick and easy.

FullColorPrinting.com has a Pre-Press Department with all of the state-of-the-art computers and software needed to make the finished product stand out in the market place. If a graphic artist is needed to spice up present logos or design artwork from scratch, Full Color Printing has talented in-house artists who can help. The Press Department is fully automated, cutting edge and top of the line. Because of the number of in-house presses, they can deliver quality product within a fast turn around time.

FullColorPrinting.com has developed a “niche” in the printing business due to the superior quality put out by the Special Finish Department. Velvet-like Matt AQ, Glossy UV and the combination of Matt AQ and Glossy Spot UV use to cost a lot of money. Now because of the high volume of requests and in-house equipment, FullColorPrinting.com has made special finishes more

desirable than the standard gloss finish. Business cards and flyers with the Matt AQ and Glossy Spot UV finish is a specialty that Full Color Printing has perfected.

FullColorPrinting.com has a full in-house steel rule Die-making Department to prepare the order to run through on of the state-of-the-art Die-cutting Presses. Some orders require the Cutting and Packaging Department to do special cutting, drilling, gluing or converting. CD/DVD covers, odd-shaped brochures or menus and VHS boxes are a few of the products that FullColorPrinting.com has produced. Once an order has been fulfilled, they will package and ship it to any destination desired.

FullColorPrinting.com easily serves the needs of both a novice in printing and an experienced printer, along with the confidence that products will be of top quality, coupled with fast turn around time and affordable price. Log onto http://www.FullColorPrinting.com and click on “Printing Process” for a complete list of in-house equipment or call toll-free (877) 711-6611.

BuckBug.com, a profitable solution that will help you earn random $5 payments for life.

BuckBug.com, a profitable solution that will help you earn random $ 5 payments for life.

(PRWEB) August 5, 2004

The BuckBug Randomize program is the latest and hottest money-making programs around at the moment. Even at this stage of its embryonic development, it has already gained much enthusiasm over other cash-generating programs on the Net.

Randomizer programs have literally taken the Internet world by storm. The main reason for such hype is the apparent effortlessness in generating real cash. You don’t need to be a web marketing pro to make money.

No advertisement. No referrals. No nothing. In fact, You don’t have to lift a finger. These randomizer websites will supposedly do all the promotion for you albeit randomly. And more appealingly, you can take advantage of a free payment processor to collect all the random dollars. At last, even a web greenhorn can be on an equal footing with a web guru in raking in the dollars.

In view of how easy the system works and how effortless one can make money with minimal effort, the randomizer program was definitely given central attention for the time being by most netrepreneurs over their other money making venture such as affiliate programs and in some cases, even own business.

One fundamental reason for its popularity is also contributed by the fact that StormPay is a truly universal payment processor, and as such, it can potentially accommodate more members than say, PayPal. There are many other StormPay-like payment processors that also accept members worldwide at the moment, but they certainly lack the popularity of StormPay at present.

How it Works

Most of you would have already known exactly how it works. Again, for the benefit of the newbies to this type of program, you simply sign-up by paying a randomized member $ 5 and that person’s ‘parent $ 5, then the last $ 5 payment goes to the admin to advertise the website. This adds your StormPay account to the Randomizer. This admin fee is to ensure that your StormPay ID is entered into the database and rotated in the system along with paying for advertising, hosting, etc. A three-step process. Very simple indeed.

Your personal webpage will be randomly promoted/rotated for you. You donÂ’t have to do anything after signing up to earn money everyday. You donÂ’t need to be a pro netrepreneur to earn some money back into your StormPay account. As mentioned earlier, it is like a lottery system, but given the proliferation of the Internet and the target market it can reach, there are definitely more chances for payments to be sent to your own StormPay account compared to striking the Lotto.

To sign up for BuckBug, simply go to http://www.buckbug.com

LINUXWORLD.COMTM ANNOUNCES WINNERS OF 2002 ENTERPRISE EVOLUTION AWARDS

xml:lang=”en” lang=”en” xmlns=”http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml”>

LINUXWORLD.COMTM ANNOUNCES WINNERS OF
2002 ENTERPRISE EVOLUTION AWARDS

(PRWEB) August 18, 2002

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – August 14, 2002 – IDG’s LinuxWorld.com, the leading website for technology professionals deploying and maintaining Linux in the enterprise, (http://www.linuxworld.com), announced today the winners of its first Enterprise Evolution Awards. The awards honor the most innovative Linux products or services propelling Linux in the enterprise. Winners were named at the LinuxWorld Conference and Expo in San Francisco.

LinuxWorld.com editors selected five winners from among all exhibitors at the LinuxWorld Conference and Expo. A panel of LinuxWorld.com editors carefully weighed each product or technology on the merits of its features and functions, as well as its impact on driving Linux evolution in the enterprise.

“We continue to see tremendous growth and innovation in Linux in the enterprise,” said LinuxWorld.com Editor in Chief Mark Cappel. “We’re thrilled to honor these outstanding technologies and companies that are pushing this market even further and helping to advance technical development processes.”

The five winners of the LinuxWorld.com Enterprise Evolution Awards, San Francisco, 2002 are listed below.

Eclipse Database Cluster: Linux NetworX, Inc.

Linux NetworX’s Eclipse Database Cluster combines its cluster management software and ICE Box hardware manager, with off-the-shelf rack mount x86 computers, SAN storage, and Oracle 9i to create a database server with no single point of failure. “In other booths at LinuxWorld Expo, I see pieces of what Linux NetworX has integrated in the Eclipse Database Cluster,” said Mark Cappel, editor of LinuxWorld.com.

Win4Lin 4.0: NeTraverse, Inc.

There are many ways to get Windows applications to run on Linux desktops. “The product that promises the most stability and compatibility is Win4Lin 4.0,” Cappel said. “Enterprises that want to move to Linux and have custom-built Windows applications should give Win4Lin a try.”

Open Office 1.0.1: OpenOffice.org

Open Office 1.0.1 is a free, in all meanings of the word, suite of desktop tools, including a word processor, spreadsheet, presentation manager, and drawing program for Windows, Linux, and Solaris. “The price is right, and compatibility with existing Microsoft documents does not seem to be an issue,” Cappel said.

LX50: Sun Microsystems, Inc.

Announced at LinuxWorld Expo, Sun’s LX50 is a 1U form-factor server that sports a pair of 1.4-GHz Pentium III CPUs and a raft of Sun software. Bundled with the LX are Linux, Solaris 9, the Sun ONE Application Server, MySQL Database, Sun Grid Engine software, Sun ONE Developer Studio, Sun ONE ASP, and Sun Streaming Server software. “On the surface, the LX50 seems an under whelming piece of hardware.” Cappel said. “However, since Sun plans to ship the LX50 with Linux, it’s a symbol of Sun’s commitment to the OS. It’s now clear Linux will play a part in Sun’s future, and users will have the choice of another vendor supporting Linux.”

Aptus 2.0: ShaoLin Microsystems Ltd.

ShaoLin Aptus 2.0 automates the task of deploying Linux on desktop computers connected to an organization’s network. “Aptus promises to make it easy to set up and maintain dataless clients,” Cappel said. “SysAdmins will welcome a tool that helps them maintain Linux desktops.”

Inc. 500 Names Intercosmos the 68th Fastest Growing Company: The popular domain registrar is the only Louisiana company to make the list

New Orleans (PRWEB) October 23, 2004 -

– New Orleans Internet domain seller Intercosmos Media Group, Inc. is the 68th fastest growing private company in the United States, according to Inc. Magazine.

The 23rd annual Inc. 500 rankings of the fastest-growing private companies in the country recently were released and will appear in the October 26 edition of the magazine.

“Our company has grown more than 5,000 percent since our first year because we’ve managed our growth well and we always listen to our customers’ needs,” said CEO Sigmund Solares, an entrepreneurial attorney with a master’s degree in business administration.

To be eligible for this year’s Inc. 500, companies had to be independent and privately held through their fiscal year 2003, have had at least $ 200,000 in net sales in the base year of 1999 for Inc. 500 alumni and 2000 for new applicants, and $ 2 million in net sales for 2003. In addition, their 2003 sales had to exceed 2002 sales. Companies are ranked on averaged year-over-year sales growth. Inc. verifies all information using tax forms and audited financial statements from certified public accountants and by conducting interviews with company officials.

Intercosmos saddled its first wave of success in early 2000 with the creation of the wildly popular directNIC.com domain name registration portal.

Notably, Intercosmos is the only company from Louisiana to make the Inc. 500 list.

“Since most of our clients are national and a significant portion are international, many people in Louisiana don’t realize directNIC.com is located right in downtown New Orleans – not exactly Silicon Valley,” Solares said. “In fact, our sister company, Zipa.com, purchased the local assets of Enron Broadband when they went under, and directNIC.com now is hosted in a massive, secure datacenter not far from the French Quarter.”

IntercosmosÂ’ directNIC.com has become one of the Top 10 largest domain name registration sites in the world.

“We started directNIC to be the first domain name registrar to offer low-cost domain names coupled with powerful, free webmastering tools like free hosting,” CEO Sigmund Solares said. “Our competition when we started was over priced and their domain management platforms were clunky. Not much has changed in some regards, but we like to think we spawned a lot of the low cost alternatives in the industry.”

While the company may have helped start the price drop on domain names, it has held firm to its own $ 15 registration price set in early 2000.”We’ve done this by constantly striving to increase the reliability and value of our services,” Solares said.

“It’s been a good model for Intercosmos,” Solares said. “Our next frontier is the paid hosting market.”

Inc. editor-in-chief John Koten, “The best thing you can say about this year’s crop of Inc. 500 entrepreneurs is that they didn’t buy into the hype. When people were practically giving away funding in the late 1990s, these companies didn’t overextend, and when everyone hit the panic button a few years later, they stayed calm and seized opportunity.”

Gutterflycomix.com: Webcomics creators, pop-culture enthusiasts, free webcomics hosts.

(PRWEB) April 12, 2005

“Helping out the little guy.” Gutterflycomix.com founders Thomas Clemmons and Gary Burch tout that phrase as if it were some sort of mantra. In reality, still being considered “little guys” themselves, it is the companies long term goal.

“Honestly Gary and I have been pretty successful in achieving what we set out to do with online comics to this point. We have created high quality multimedia comic, that isn‘t humor based, and founded a high traffic web site around that comic. Now we want to help others that are just starting out to do the same thing.” Comments Amarillo based visual artist, Thomas Clemmons. “When we first came up with the idea of Gutterflycomix.com and our flagship title Green: Wicked Wicked Ways, there really werenÂ’t that many people on the web doing serious, long form comics. When we began, most online comics were gag strip comics so Gary and I had to sort of forge the path as we went along.”

One of the new paths that was forged was the innovative and creative use of an original musical score in the flash portion of the comic. “Very few comics at the time were using music or audio sound effects.” said Gary Burch, co-founder of the website and composer for the comic. “What I wanted to do was create an original score for each comic episode. My thoughts were if we had great music with great art and story, people would eventually come to realize that online comics could be a vital part of the entertainment business.”

But becoming a vital part of any industry isnÂ’t a solitary task. That is precisely the reason Gutterflycomix.com has launched their web hosting service. “The number one reason we have decided to host other online comics is to give the other guy a break, a shot at becoming more than they are right now.” Said Clemmons. “Sure, we could try and shut out other creators. We could aggressively promote our own stuff with a big budget marketing campaign and by talking down our competition. But in the long run, none of that will help our company or the web comic community.”

“Look at other industries,“ adds Burch, “they aren’t constantly trying to belittle and destroy their competition to the point of harming the overall community. Many industry leaders and regulators generally step in and reprimand companies that appear to be doing just that. In webcomics, too many times you see the creators trying to destroy each other to the point it destroys any credibility this community has. Like Thomas said, in the long run it won’t help anyone.“

In order to qualify for hosting at Gutterflycomix.com, all you have to do is ask. It’s that simple. The only restriction being that the content within the comic and the hosted site remain within a PG rating. “We realize that kids as well as adults are on the internet and that our market consists mainly of kids and teenagers.” says Clemmons. “We wanted to create, and now host, comics that we wouldn’t be embarrassed by if our own kids read them. So far, of all the comics we host, no one has really had a problem with keeping their content PG and, again, in the long run it will help them become better creators too.”

Clemmons and Burch understand too that a successful hosting plan on their site will also help out their company. Though the hosted artists are not required to, many of the creators that have comics hosted by Gutterflycomix.com choose to link back to the main site. “We didn’t want to be restrictive.” begins Burch. “The only real restriction is the PG rating, but we didn’t want to demand that hosted comics display any ads unless they wanted to sell their own ad space on their site. We didn’t want to demand that they link back to us either, that was just a pleasant compliment when they did. But we do understand that links and word of mouth will help our company out in a big way. Much more than any ad campaign really could.”

Soon Gutterflycomix.com will be making a big splash on the comic book convention scene and has plans to launch print books and DVD’s as well. For a company with a modest beginning, Gutterflycomix.com is proving to be a “little guy” that could teach the “big guys” a thing or two.

Gutterflycomix.com’s flagship title Green: Wicked Wicked Ways can be viewed at http://www.gutterflycomix.com. Expect episode five of Green: Wicked Wicked Ways to hit the site in the Summer of 2005.
