Salt Lake City, UT (PRWEB) December 22, 2011
TriQuest Fundraising, one of Americas largest youth and sports team fundraising companies, today announced the appointment of Rusty Bentley as president.
Bentley has guided the company as Vice President for the previous two years. In his new role, Bentley will oversee all major business decisions as well as the companys overall day-to-day activity. The appointment comes during a year of strong growth for TriQuest, which in 2011 has added over 1,000 schools, teams and youth groups as well as 15 employees.
Recently TriQuest expanded its product line to include cookie dough, and gourmet popcorn to go with its well known Champions Card and All-America Card discount fundraisers. In 2011 the company launched TQ Deals, a mobile app with over 100,000 show your phone deals to local and national merchants across the nation.
This is a great company that really understands what youth groups and teams go through when its time to raise the money they need, said Bentley. Im excited for the opportunity to help TriQuest continue to grow, because Im a parent who knows firsthand the impact TriQuest can have. I particularly love that TriQuest offers products that people actually want to buy, and my kids dont have to become salesmen to raise funds.
Bentley has served in a variety of management and sales roles throughout his career. He has worked with Fortune 500 clients representing millions of dollars in revenue for the companies he has represented.
Rusty is as responsible for the rapid growth of TriQuest as anyone, so its a natural fit for him to be the one who sets the direction, said Casey Kleinman, CEO of TriQuest Fundraising. Donations are hard to come by in an economy like this, and yet under Rusty, TriQuest has developed a line of products and a business model that really works for youth groups as well as their supporters.
Bentley holds an MBA from Utah State University and an undergraduate degree from the University of Utah. He is green belt certified in Six Sigma.
